Flight Safety Training Courses

Flight Safety Education is fundamental to accident/incident prevention. Therefore, all personnel associated with flight operations should be aware of flight safety objectives, and all CF courses concerning air operations should include Flight Safety objectives.

Basic Flight Safety Course (BFSC):
The objectives of this course are to teach candidates to:

• develop & implement an effective flight safety prevention and education program; and
• respond to flight safety occurrences: reporting, investigation, implementing preventative measures

Advanced Flight Safety Course (AFSC):
The course objectives are to teach candidates to:

• develop & implement an effective Wing-level flight safety prevention and education program; and
• respond to flight safety occurrences: reporting, investigation, implementing preventative measures.
